Council Bluffs, IA - Reivers defeat Northeast on a Jep Allen hat-trick

Sophomore forward Kwesi Allen scored three goals last night to lead the Reivers to a 4-0 victory over Northeast Community College.  The Reivers have had three consecutive hat-tricks between Joao Burti and Kwesi Allen.  Burti had two consecutive hat-tricks versus Dakota County TC and Barton CC, and he scored in his third straight game last night after lacing a long distance shot.  The 4-0 win also marks the Reivers fourth consecutive shutout.  The Reivers currently sit in third place in the ICCAC a half game behind conference leaders Marshalltown CC and Indian Hills CC.  Marshalltown upset No. 5 Indian Hills last night in a 2-1 victory.  All ICCAC standings and results can be found on the ICCAC website, www.iccac.org. 

Up next for the Reivers (7-2-1, 5-1-0) is Scott Community College (4-7-1, 0-5-1).  The Reivers travel to Bettendorf for a 3 pm kickoff on Saturday, October 14th.  The Reivers face first place Marshalltown CC at home on Saturday, October 21st and then travel to Hawkeye Community College on Tuesday, October 24th to finish out ICCAC play.
