The brand new John and Harriet Wiebe Football and Soccer Complex was built in the Fall of 2024 with the dedication ceremony held on October 11th.
The Wiebe Complex, named in honor of the Wiebe's was made possible through the sale of over 100 acres of land generously donated by the couple in 2007. Proceeds from the land sale funded the construction of the new facility and established the John and Harriet Wiebe Scholarship Endowment for Fine Arts and Education, ensuring a legacy of academic and athletic excellence for future generations of students.
The Wiebe Complex serves as the practice facility for Iowa Western's football program and hosts both practices and home games for the college's men's and women's soccer teams.
IWCC has also partnered with Saint Albert Catholic Schools to use the facility starting in the Spring of 2025.
