2022-23

A learning year for the Reivers. With only 1 player returning from the 2022 year, the team looked toward Freshman to round out the 2023 year. The Reivers jumped out nicely to start the year when they set a team 54-holes scoring record at -28. Jason Kolbas tied the school 54-hole individual low record with a score of -12. The team struggled the rest of the year with inconsistent play but still managed to qualify for the National Championships. Freshman Ethan Smith stepped up at Nationals and was in 2nd place entering the final round. He managed to finish with All-American Honorable Mention honors.12 of the 14 players earned All-Academic XI 1st team or second team awards.

2021-22

The men had a successful year earning 1st place in 5 events while also having 3 runner-up finishes. 1 of the events they won, was the District III Championship. This was the first Championship for Iowa Western at this event, which also qualified them for the National Championships. Along the way they set team records: Lowest 18th Hole tournament team score (274), Lowest Team score for 54 holes 844 (-20). Thomas Craig also set an individual team low round for 54 holes (-12). Many of the players took turns leading the team. Craig had 6 Top 10 finishes winning 2 of the events. Gus Sjoeberg had 5 top 10 finishes while Jason Kolbas and Graedon Woodward each had 3 top 10 places. Rory Bain, Craig, Kolbas, Sjoeberg and Woodward earned All-Academic XI First team while Marcus Eriksen and Jacob Hellman earned All-Academic Region XI 2nd team honors.

2017-18

The men’s golf team ended the 2017-18 season with 3 tournament championships, 6 top-3 and 2 top-5 finishes. The Reivers finished in the top 5 in all of their 11 events. The season was capped with a runner-up finish at the 2018 NJCAA National Championship. Joel Durnford won the individual National Championship, becoming the first Reiver to bring that title back to Iowa Western. Durnford, along with Tom Westenberger and Albert Nilsson were named NJCAA All-American. Durnford was also named GCAA Ping 1st Team All-American. The team also earned NJCAA and GCAA Academic All-American honors.

2016-17

The men’s team earned 2 team championships, 2 top-3 finishes and 3 top-5 finishes in the regular season. A 3rd place finish at the NJCAA District III Championship earned an 8th straight trip to the NJCAA National Championships. The Reivers finished 6th out of 21 teams at Nationals earning the 2nd highest finish in program history. Freshmen, Joel Durnford and Albert Nilsson each tied for 18th place individually. Dale Crothers and Joel Durnford each claimed an All-District honor from the GCAA.

2015-16 The Men's team earned 5 regular season Championships as well as a Runner-Up finish at the NJCAA District III Championships. The Runner-Up finish earned them their 7th straight trip to the NJCAA Championships where they finished in 10th place. Dale Crothers finished tied for 9th place at the NJCAA Championship good enough to earn 2nd Team All-American Honors. He was joined by Alister Balcombe who finished tied for 18th and earned All-American Honorable Mention Honors. 2014-15 During the regular season the team earned 2 team championships, the Midland Invitational and Northeast Invitational, as well as 2 runner up finishes at the Dodge City Shoot-Out and the NJCAA National Championship Preview. The Reivers finished 3rd at the NJCAA District III Championships which earned them their 6th straight appearance in the NJCAA Naitonal Championship. 10 15 Roster Schedule
2013-14 During the regular season the team earned 2 team championships, the Midland Invitational and the Friends of Golf Invitational, as well as 4 top-5 finishes. The Reivers finished 4th at the NJCAA District III Championships which earned them their 5th straight appearance in the NJCAA Naitonal Championships. Max McGrail finished 3rd at the National Championships, earning him his second All-American recognition, and also lead his team to 3rd place finish overall. 3rd 3rd Roster Schedule
2012-13 Qualified for the NJCAA National Championships for the fifth year in a row finishing the year in a row placing sixth in the nation, the best ever showing in the programs history. Carded a program best three consecutive victories at the Fun City Classic in Burlington Iowa, the Friends of Golf Invite in Beatrice Nebraska, and the Midland University Spring Shootout in Fremont Nebraska. Jose Pelayo and Max McGrail were named to the NJCAA All-Tournament Team, the NJCAA All-American Team, and the Ping All-Region Team, becoming the first players in Reiver history to achieve all three honors. The Reivers Claimed three indvidual titles as well with Jimmy Jaskose at the Community First Credit Union Invite, Max McGrail at the Ronnie Eastman Invitational, and Jose Pelayo at the Midland Unviersity Spring Shootout. 6th 6th Roster Schedule
2011-12 Qualified for the NJCAA National Championships for the fourth consecutive year placing 11th overall, besting the previous top placing held last season. Won the prestigous Fun City Classic at Spirit Hollow for the first time in school history marking the only time a junior college program has everl held the crown. Simon Payne became the first ever Reiver golfer to be named to the NJCAA All-American team and All-Tournament team carding a 17th place finish. 11th 11    
2010-11 Qualified for the NJCAA National Championships for the first time under new head coach Tyler Schiffelbein placing 12th overall. Won the first tournament of the season at the Bethany Swede Invitational placing three players on the all tournament team. Finished Runner - up at the NJCAA District III Championships marking the teams best ever showing. Freshman transfer Lance Lawson broke the single season scoring record set at 73.1 claiming two individual titles and the District III Runner - up individually. 11th 12    
2009-10 Saw three team titles winning the Iowa Western Fall Classic and the Nebraska Wesleyan Inivite in the Fall and the Iowa Lakes Laker Invite in the Spring. Sophomore Kevin Stanek became the first Reiver to win the District III individual title in the programs history leading the Reivers to the NJCAA National Championships in Huntsville Alabama where they placed 20th in the nation. 18th 20    
2008-09 Won five events during the regular season marking the most ever victories to date for either Reiver golf program. Took home the title in both the Fall and Spring Reiver classic, as well as both the Fall and Spring Iowa Lakes invite. Shot the lowest team total in school history at 278 to win the NWU fall classic carding ten under par. Qualified for the NJCAA National Tournament placing seventeenth after rounds of 312-321-314-297. Kevin Stanek became the first Reiver selected to the NJCAA All District III team. 15th 17    
2007-08 Won two events in the fall claiming honors at the DMACC Invitational and the Iowa Western Fall Classic. Failed to qualify for the NJCAA National Championships for the first (and only)time in the programs history. 20th NA    
2006-07 Won four events through out the Fall and Spring including both the legs of the Laker Invitational. Qualified for the NJCAA National Tournament for the first time in the programs history by claiming the at large bid for the region placing nineteenth in the final polls. 17th 19    
2005-06 Won four events in the inaugural full season of Iowa Western golf, claimed the title at the Ellsworth Fall Invitational for the first ever team title. Won three events in the Spring at the Iowa Lakes Invite, Southeastern Invitational, and the DMACC Fall Classic. Tim Murphy became the first Reiver to qualify for the NJCAA National Championships placing 25th overall and still holds the lowest round in the programs history at 67. 19th NA
