Iowa Western Cheerleading National Championships

2025 UCA NATIONAL CHAMPIONS & WORLD UNIVERSITY CUP CHAMPIONS

The 2025 Iowa Western Open Small Coed team brought home the program's 2nd UCA National Championship. The Reivers defeated eight other teams with a final score of 86.4 en route to the title.  They followed it up with a World University Cup title later that afternoon with a score of 84.3, taking down five 4-year universities.

2023 NATIONAL CHAMPIONS

In her fifth season as Spirit Coordinator and Head Cheer Coach, Raven Gau guided her team to the program’s first national championship.  The team outscored Jones College and Shelton State CC with a first-place score of 87.8.  They also competed in the Premier Open Large Coed division in the University World Cup, earning a first place to give IWCC its second UCA World University Title.

2016 UCA WORLD UNIVERSITY CHAMPIONS

The 2015-16 Iowa Western Cheer Team brought home the program's first UCA World University Championship under the direction of Head Cheer Coach Jeff Snow.
