Crete, NE- The Iowa Western Track & Field team's opened up their season in Crete, Ne for the Ward Haylett Invite. The women's team finished with six top 3 performances including national qualifying marks from Patricia Johnson, Faith Chepengat, and Sierra Coward.
The men's team finished with eight top-3 performances with the highlight of the day coming in the 60m dash where they swept the competition finishing in the top 4 spots. The men had qualifying performance's from returning All-American Johnie Jean-Jacques and the 4x400m relay team (DeAirus Clerveaux, Justen O'Brien, LeeAaron Berks, Shamar Deacon)
