Bio

Zach Sigler begins his first season as Hitting Coach for Iowa Western Softball in 2024-25.

Sigler spent the last two seasons as an assistant coach at the University of Texas Permian Basin.

Prior to UTPB, Sigler was at McPherson College for the last one season, serving as assistant coach and the Director of Athletic Facilities.  That season the Bulldogs finished as Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference tournament runner-ups while winning 26 games. 

Prior to McPherson, Sigler was a highly successful assistant at NJCAA powerhouse Butler Community College from 2002-20.  They won back-to-back national championships in 2016 and 2017 and earned National Fastpitch Coaches Association Coaching Staff of the Year Award both seasons.  The Grizzlies were the 2019 Academic National Champions while going 43-8 overall.  They made 10 national tournament appearances and won the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Championship 12 times.  Sigler coached 26 All-Americans,142 All-Conference selections, and over 60 future Division I transfers.

Sigler graduated from Butler Community College with his Associates in Science in 2005.
