Iowa Western took two from Central CC on Saturday (13-1 and 19-4) and two from North Central Missouri College on Sunday (9-1 and 7-6).
Central
Emily Brouse struck out 20 while throwing a two hitter against Central in game one. Myla Beckstrom and Jael Wilde homered for the Reivers. Wilde also doubled in the contest, with Olivia Valdez doubling twice.
Amayia Hernandez and Olivia Valdez stole the show in game two. Hernandez homered twice and scored four times while driving in three runs. Valdez would homer and double while scoring twice and driving in three. Ava Knoll got the win by throwing four shutout innings while striking out seven.
North Central Missouri
Game one was all Reivers. Brouse threw a one hitter, striking out five. Jael Wilde went 3-3 with two homeruns, scoring three times and driving in four runs. Olivia Valdez also went 3-3 with a triple, a bomb, and three RBI's.
The nightcap saw the Reivers claw their way out of a 6-3 hole to win 7-6. After jumping out 3-0, NCMC would rally for six runs in the third inning. Libby Walls would pick up the win, throwing five innings and only allowing two hits. Olivia Kyes hit a two-run bomb in the fourth to narrow the gap 6-5. In the sixth, Kyes would again provide the spark, doubling home Kambrie Stuart would was hit by a pitch earlier in the inning. Amayia Hernandez would then double off the fence to bring Kyes home and provide the game winning run for the home team.
