REIVER MENS GOLF WINS AT PRAIRIE DUNES

The Reiver Men returned to action at the Prairie Dunes Collegiate hosted by Sterling College on April 4th and 5th. They also returned to their winning ways from last fall! An opening round 285 (+5) was the low round of the day on Monday, April 4th. Reivers sophomore Gustav Sjoberg shot a tournament leading 67 (-3) to lead the way.

In the final round on Tuesday, April 5th, the Reivers received the full "Prairie Dunes" treatment. As the conditions changed multiple times throughout the day, the Reivers managed to hold off Southwestern Christian University. The lead briefly fell to just 3 shots at one point but, that's as close as anyone could get. A final round 290 was enough to secure the victory!

Graedon Woodward paced the Reivers in the final round with and even par, 70. That round was ultimately good enough for him to finish 5th overall with a two-day total of 142 (+2). "I'm really proud of the guy's ability to just get the job done this early in the season. We still haven't been able to fully work out the kinks in our games with course conditions and the weather we've been having." Assistant Coach Derrick Ceder said. "Their ability to shoot a good score by just playing golf and not playing golf swing is the mark of a good team."

Rounding out the Reivers scoring: 5th - Graedon Woodward 142 (+2), T-6th - Gustav Sjoberg 143 (+3), T-8th - Thomas Craig 145 (+5), T-23rd - Marcus Eriksen 150 (+10), T-23rdJason Kolbas 150 (+10)
