REIVERS FINISH THE FALL SEASON STRONG

REIVERS FINISH THE FALL SEASON STRONG

The Reivers needed a strong final round to close out the Grandview Invitational! After opening with a 287(+3) in the 1st round, we found ourselves 1 shot back of host school Grandview. Thankfully, we had one more chance to take on Otter Creek Golf Course in the final round. A 274 (-10) was the best round of the day by 5 shots and took us to -7 for the event. Good enough for a 7-shot victory to close out the fall season.

Overall, the Reivers were led by sophomore Graedon Woodward who finished the event in a tie for 3rd individually at -3 (139). Thomas Craig continued his run of good play by finishing T5 at -2 (140). His final round 65 (-6) was the best round of the day! Gustav Sjoberg also finished T5, -2 (140). The Reivers had another top 10 finish from Marcus Eriksen. His two-day total of 144 (+2) was good enough to put him into a tie for 9th.

"Very pleased with our ability to bounce back after a bad round. You're going to have bad days, rounds, and bad holes in golf but, its how you respond that truly matters," Coach Ceder said. "We didn't want our 1st round to linger throughout the winter so, we wanted to play our best in the final round and carry that momentum into the offseason."
