The men picked up their 3rd straight win of the spring and their 5th overall this season at the DMACC Spring Invitational hosted at Otter Creek Golf Course in Ankeny, Iowa this Monday. On a typical warm and windy day the Reivers competed through 2 rounds played continously at Otter Creek. The men shot an even par 284 in round 1 led by freshman Gustav Sjoeberg's 69 and even par 71 rounds from Graedon Woodward and Dean Walsh. At the end of round 1 the Reivers held a 2 shot lead over Iowa Central. Sophomore Jakob Falk Schollert closed the event with a 3-under par 68 to lead the team to another round of even par 284. Freshman Daniel Gutgesell carded a 1-under par 70 in round 2. The even par finish for the tournament was good enough for a 17 shot victory over Iowa Central. Six Reivers finished in the top-10 led by Jakob Falk Schollerts 141 total to earn him a 1 shot victory. Gustav Sjoeberg's total of 143 earned him a 3rd place finish. Dean Walsh and Graedon Woodward tied for 4th at 144 and Daniel Gutgesell finish in a tie for 7th at 145. Carson Caylor finished solo 10th at 146.
The Men tee it up again on April 12th and 13th at the UC Ferguson Invitational hosted by Oklahoma City University at Lincoln Park Golf Course in Oklahoma City.
