Reivers Finish 3rd at the Dornick Hills Classic, Falk Schollert 3rd Straight Top-10

October 8th, 2019

Ardmore, Oklahoma

The Reivers earned a 3rd place finish at the Dornick Hills Classic in Ardmore, Oklahoma. Dornick Hills is the toughest golf course the men will see this year, and the scores showed that. In round one the men shot 301. The 301 was the highest round the men had shot all year, but gave them a 1 shot lead over a bunched leaderboard. That afternoon the men improved a little and shot 298 but fell to 2nd place going into the final round. The final round saw the men shoot 315 but were able to hang onto 3rd place. "This was the most difficult golf course that I have ever coached at. It challenged the guys in every way possible. We had a good showing, but more importantly each guy now knows where their game truly is. We had an opportunity to learn a lot, now it's time to get back to work," coach Thompson. Jakob Falk Schollert led the Reivers with a T9 finish earning his 3rd straight top-10 finish of the season. Adam Van Raden and Rick Van Der Nat both finished T14 as well. The men have a short turnaround and will be playing at the Tabor Fall Invitational on October 14th and 15th at Sand Creek Station Golf Club in Newton, Kansas.
