Bio

2018-19: Jake Hazuka competed in 13 games for the Reivers '18-'19 as a walk-on during his first season of collegiate play.  The Bellevue, NE native scored a career-high 6 points against North Iowa Area on 11/6/18.

HIGH SCHOOL: Hazuka crossed the river to play for the Reivers after attending and competing at nearby Bellevue West High School. The 6'5 forward playing an intricate roll in Head Coach Doug Woodard's team's successful run during the 2018 Nebraska State Basketball Tournament. The Thunderbirds reached all the way to an improbable state title game appearance, finishing as state runners-up after an 18-5 campaign. Jake follows KC Rodenburg who attended Iowa Western after playing at Bellevue West during his preparatory years.  Robenburg would become the first, of now five, NJCAA Academic All-Americans within the men's basketball program at Iowa Western; and earned a roster spot at NCAA D1 University of South Dakota.

Personal: Jake is the son of Boomer and Sheryl Hazuka.
