Linga Wins, Kiptoo Second at FHSU Invite

Freshman Faith Linga took the top spot in the Women's race, followed by fellow Reiver Emmy Chepkemei in a strong race for the women's team. Faith won the black division with a time of 16:50 while Emmy finished 2^nd in a time of 18:09. The women's team as a whole finished ?? in the black division.

On the men's side Shawn Kiptoo finished 2^nd with a time of 24:06 followed by a 3^rd place finish from Kassim Kibet running a time of 24:10. The men had five athletes finish in the top 30 to win the black division. Gavin Klein, Aldo Zavala, and Jalen Elwell finished 11-12-26 to seal the team championship for the mens group.

Next up for the Reivers, the teams head to Ottumwa, IA to race in the Region XI Championship on October 25th.
