Council Bluffs, IA- The Iowa Western volleyball team swept Marshalltown in three sets (25-14, 25-16, 25-13) last night at Kanesville Arena. This win secures at least a share of the regular season conference title.
Reka Kotorman produced 21 assists to help set up the offensive performance of the Reivers. Sophomore, Kelsey Havel, led the way with 13 kills, while adding 7 digs and 1 block. Genesis Sheridan wasn't too far behind, scoring 9 kills on a .333% hitting clip. Daria de Caravalho was a force at the net with a team high 5 blocks, and Leah Palensky locked in 15 digs.
Reivers will be back in action next weekend at Jefferson College.
