Reivers continue to roll; blank Marshalltown 3-0

MARSHALLTOWN, IA – Iowa Western's volleyball team took a business trip Wednesday, and the No. 2-ranked Reivers got the job done against Marshalltown.

Iowa Western got 12 kills from Irina Alekseeva and 10 from Kortlyn Henderson in a straight-set win. It was IWCC's sixth in a row.

Game scores were 25-19, 25-13, 25-15.

"Marshalltown is getting better," IWCC coach Alicia Williams said. "It was kind of ugly at the start tonight, but we got in rhythm after the first set and it was smooth sailing after the first 15 points."

The Reivers' next match is at home against Central (Neb.) at 7 p.m. Friday.
