Reivers Announce Summer Camps

COUNCIL BLUFFS, IA: The Reivers Women's Soccer team annouces three summer camps.

First camp will be held Monday, June 6th through Thursday, June 9th. Reiver Rascals (Age 3-5) will be from 8am to 10am Monday-Thursday. Campers will learn the basics of the game, where sessions will be fun, imaginative activities for dribbling, shooting, and passing. Our goal is for the players to fall in love with the beautiful game in a fun and friendly environment. Reiver Academy and Club (Age 6-14) will be 8am to 11 am Monday-Thursday. Campers will learn fundamental skills such as dribbling, passing, receiving, shooting, defending, and shielding. We will learn through fun activity based games, skill instruction, skill-building activities, and small sided games. Goal is to enhance their skills in a fun, competitive environment to prepare them for their upcoming youth seasons.

Second camp will be held Monday, July 25th through Thursday, July 28th. Our Reiver Youth Summer Soccer Camp will be put on by the women's soccer team and the men's soccer team together. There will be two different sessions that are avaliable for sign up; a Half day (7:30am-11:00am) or a Full day (7:30am-4:00pm). Reivers Youth Summer Soccer Camp is a four day camp and the activity for children living in the Council Bluffs-Omaha metro area. The camps are held on the beautiful campus of Iowa Western Community College. Campers are introduced to a fun, competitive, and educational environment. Training sessions are designed specifically for each age group's level of learning. Campers are introduced to some of the most experienced coaches in the area. Ages: 4-7 and 8-13.

Third Camp will be held on July 28th from 3:00pm to 9:00pm. Our College Camp is for incoming 9th and 12th graders. This camp is designed to put them a college environment with sessions that will include technical training, tactical game insight, physical demands, and mental training from college coaches. Schedule consists of a 2 hour session planned by nationally recognized college coaches, a tour of our beautiful campus and facilities with a recruiting seminar which parents are welcome to join, and finish with a Final Game.
