
Women's Soccer Adds Coach Parkhill to Staff
Council Bluffs, IA: Iowa Western Women's Soccer is excited to announce the addition of Coach Jamison Parkhill to the coaching staff. "Jamison brings a lot of experience to the staff and will be a great asset to the student-athletes" commented Head Coach Adam Sanchez. "He is familiar with our program and standards, the Council Bluffs area and surrounding metro, and knows soccer. He's a great addition."
Parkhill is currently the Head Coach for the Boys' Soccer Program at Abraham Lincoln High School going into his 8th season and 9th with the program. In his years as head coach, the program has won the Missouri River Conference outright for the 1st time in program history, earned multiple All-Conference and All-State selections, and had three straight winning seasons from 2017-2019. He has coached club soccer at Gretna Elite Academy in Gretna, NE for the past two seasons.
Coach Parkhill was the Associate Head Soccer Coach of the Men and Women's Programs at Nebraska Christian College in Papillion, NE in 2019-2020, before it closed in 2020. While at NCC, he helped lead the men and women programs to their best record in program history. .
Coach Parkhill played at Morningside College (University) from 2009 to 2013 under Head Coach Tom Maxon. He earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree for American/World History Teaching with a Coaching Endorsement. After Morningside, he taught 7th Grade Social Studies at Kirn Middle School in Council Bluffs, IA from 2013 to 2019
He currently holds his USSF D License and planning on takin his USSF C License next year.
Coach Parkhill resides in Council Bluffs, IA with his wife, Emily and two children, Julia and Charlie.
