Thunderbowl Announced as Home Practice Facility of Reiver Bowling
The Iowa Western Bowling Program and Thunderbowl have agreed to a partnership that will make the 32-lane Council Bluffs center the home practice facility of Reiver Bowling. The team will practice there five days a week starting in the fall. Head Coach Douglas Kuberski is looking forward to building a strong relationship between the center and Iowa Western.
"Connie and Dean Ratliff, two of the best proprietors in the business, have done an outstanding job with Thunderbowl, " said Kuberski. "With the work of general manager Derek Markley, the vision they had when taking over the establishment continues to take shape, cementing it as one of the premiere bowling centers in the region. The importance of their support of Reiver Bowling cannot be overstated, and we are grateful for their partnership."

"Iowa Western Athletics has become synonymous with excellence, and we envision Coach Kuberski and Coach Goodwin continuing with that tradition by building a top-notch program. Both the women's and men's squads are set to open their tournament seasons October 13th.
