2024-2025 Iowa Western CC Basketball Prospectus (10/22/2024)
Coach Loll looks to continue the success of his predecessors at Iowa Western. The Reivers will have a new look and plenty of new faces on the roster. Coach Loll has added a number of fresh faces to carry on the Reiver Tradition.
Coach Loll wants to play fast and chaotic. We have the depth and athleticism to create havoc with our defense. We want to pickup full court and wear our opponents down. Its been a learning curve for our both our players and myself each learning and learning about each other.
The team will be led by red shirt sophomore, Caela Tighe, transfer, Sydney Donaldson, and freshman, Aniyah Howard, Kyra Wooden, and Natalia Franklin.
The NJCAA D2 Pre-Season poll was announced Monday October 21st. The Iowa Western CC women's basketball team was ranked at #17 in the pre-season poll. The team has several top 25 match-ups during the season. They will face North Central Missouri College on November 8th. The Pirates were ranked at #12 in the pre-season poll. The following weekend the Reivers will host Parkland College #14 in the pre-season poll. Other ICCAC teams ranked in the pre-season poll include Kirkwood #1, North Iowa Area CC #10, and Des Moines Area CC #25.
