ICCAC Women's Basketball All-Region Teams Announced

The 2022 Division II Region XI Women's Basketball teams were announced on Tuesday March 04, 2022. Iowa Western named two high-scoring freshmen to the First Team this season in guard Aleshia Jones and forward Ndidiamaka Ndukwe. Jones was the leading scorer for the Reivers in conference play averaging 16.2 points per game during conference play. She was also an efficient scorer from deep averaging nearly three made three pointers per game on 38.9% shooting from behind the arc. Ndukwe was able to chip in 13 points a night for the Reivers while also pulling down 8.4 rebounds per game during ICCAC play. Ndukwe was also named the 2022 ICCAC Newcomer of the Year.

Ruba Abo Hashesh earned Second Team averaging 7.5 points per game and dishing out 3.3 assists per game also being named to the All-Tournament Team. Mary Delgado earned Third Team while adding 7.2 points per game and tallying 3.0 assists per game. Courtney Fields, who averaged 10 points per game while grabbing 3.6 rebounds per game rounded out the team's awards by earning All-Tournament team.
