1-2 Punch of Morris and Amusan Lead Reivers Past Vikings

Council Bluffs, IA

The Iowa Western women's basketball team improved to 12-9 on the season after a convincing win over Grand View University JV on Thursday, January 23, 2020. The Reivers had a dominant first half, scoring 52 points and finished the game with 79, while holding the Vikings to 64. The Reivers set the pace offensively and outscored the Vikings in the first three quarters and were lead by Jaiden Morris. Morris was outstanding scoring 22 points and grabbing 6 rebounds. Solape Amusan was also pivotal in the win, scoring 15 points and also grabbing 6 rebounds. 

The contest prepares the Reivers who will enter the second round of conference play this week, playing Northeast at home on Wednesday, January 29 at 5:00 p.m. and traveling to Marshalltown on Saturday, February 1.
