Reivers Open Spring Season in St. Louis
St. Louis, Missouri
After a quiet four months, Reivers Sport Shooting returned to action at the Lindenwood Invite in St. Louis.
Jacob Slieter targetted a perfect 100/100 in American Trap and the Reivers won the team title in the event, beating Lindenwood by a single target.
Freshman John DeFord placed third in the overall event with a score 244 out of 250 and the Reivers finished fifth with a total of 1200 out of 1250 targets hit. Only 12 targets separated Coach Derek Pollock's squad from first place, won by Midland University with 1212 total clays.
"Overall not a bad weekend, I think this competition really started to show our potential," said Coach Pollock, "but I think it really showed just how hard we need to continue to work."
