LINCOLN, NEBRASKA

10 teams converged on Nebraska's Capitol City over the weekend in the Midland University Open.

Over the course of the event, Reiver Sport Shooting did well enough to finish in the top half of competition, which featured 400 targets in five separate target shooting disciplines.

Freshman Jacob Slieter stood out for the Reivers in total scoring, blasting 359 out of his 400 targets.

Fellow freshman Andrey Bauer finished just behind his teammate, hitting 356 targets.

On the women's side, freshman Reegan Filip led the Reivers by shooting 297/400 targets.

This weekend the Reivers compete at home against Iowa Lakes Community College.
