Bio

FRESHMAN SEASON (Siena): Christian Bentley hails from Brampton, Ontario; and is the first Canadian to suit up for the Reivers since former Iowa Western standout and Oklahoma Sooner Dinjiyl Walker, who ultimately would play in the 2016 NCAA D1 FINAL FOUR. Christian comes to Iowa Western from NCAA D1 institution Siena College, where he started in 11 games as a freshman for the Saints.  The 6'3 combo guard shot 50% from behind the arch, scored a season high 11 points vs Hofstra, and grabbed a season high 6 rebounds at Bucknell in 2017-18.

HIGH SCHOOL: Bentley led head coach Khayree Wilson's First Love Christian Academy to a 24-3 record in 2016-17.  He averaged 15 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists per contest during that year. The Knights would qualify for the elite SLAM National Championship in '16-'17 after earning a NCSAA Divisional Championship for their efforts.

Personal: Christain is the son of Oniel and Debbie Bentley.
