Reivers Clinch Conference Title, Hold #1 Seed For Region XI Tourney

Reivers finished out the regular season yesterday as regular season conference champions and will be the 1 seed as they move into the Regional playoffs next weekend.

Game 1: Indian Hills won with a score of 4-3. The Reivers fought back in the 7th with Gibson Krzeminski's 2 RBI hit but came up one run short of tying the game. Braedyn MClaughlin picked up his first loss of the season going 3 and 2/3rds giving up 9 hits and striking out 1. 

Game 2: Iowa Western bounced back to beat the Falcons 9-5. Ronnald Sweeny led the way with his 12th home run of the season going 2-3 with 2 RBI's. Alex Firsdon picked up his 2nd win of the season going 3 innings out of the bullpen. 

Game 3: Reiver bats came out hot on Sunday, scoring 15 runs to Indian Hills 1.  Cooper Bowman, Jaden Rolffs, and Garrett Olson all homered in the game with ROlffs and Olson both hitting Grand Slams. Jared Simspson picked up his 6th win of the year going 5 innings giving up just one hit and striking out 6. 

Game 4: Iowa Western takes the series with a score of 7-4. Caleb Balgaard, Jaden Rolffs, Ross Indlecoffer, Mason Speirs, Garrett Olson, and Jacob Kaiser all recorded RBI's for the Reivers. Dalton Mall picked up the win out of the bullpen, and Trystan Kimmel picked up his 15th save of the season. 

Iowa Western will beging Regional Tournament play this Friday at 11a.m. against Southwestern CC. All Regional games will be played at Indian Hills CC.
