Game 1: Reivers win with a score of 9-1 over Southwestern. Jaden Rolffs leads the way for the offence driving in 4 runs on 2 home runs. Ronald Sweeny also homered in the game. On the mound Braedyn Mclaughlin picked up his 7th win of the season going 7 innings giving up just 1 hits, 1 unearned run, and striking out 13.
Game 2: Iowa Western beat Southwestern 15-1. Reivers put up 11 in the 1st inning on 5 home runs. Greg Bennett hit two in the game and tallied 5 RBIs. Jordan Bonk picked up his 6th win of the year, going 3 innings and striking out 6.
Game 3: Day two of play the Reivers were back at it, winning with a score of 12-4 over the Spartans. Ronald Sweeny and Ross Indlecoffer both knocked in 3 RBIs, and Ronald Sweeny III, Isaiah Peterson, Mason Speirs all homered in the game. Jayden Kruse picked up the win coming out of the bullpen and going 2 innings striking out 4 and giving up 1 unearned run.
Game 4: In the final game of the 4 game sweep, the Reivers won with a score of 15-4. Reivers again put up 11 in the first inning. Caleb Balgaard, Ronald Sweeny III, Gibson Krzeminski all homered in the game and drove in 3 runs each. On the mound Marius Balandis picked up the win going 1 and a third giving up 1 earned run, 1 unearned, and striking out 4.
The Reivers will be back at home this week to play a double header with Iowa Lakes Community College on Thursday 4/25 with the first game starting at 1:00.
