Daniel Lastra begins his first season as Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach for 2023-24.
The past year he was a Graduate Assistant at Ohio University where he was responsible for the strength and conditioning of football, women’s soccer, and cheerleading, while also working with men’s wrestling, and women’s field hockey.
Daniel played soccer at Bellevue University from 2013 to 2018.
Lastra graduated with a Master's in Exercise Physiology from Ohio University in May of 2023, and in 2017, graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Health & Human Performance from Bellevue University. Also, in 2018, he earned his second Bachelor of Science in Sport Management from Bellevue University. He is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
Originally from Cali, Colombia, Daniel resides in La Vista, NE with his wife Catherine.
