Midway through the third season of Shotgun Sports at Iowa Western, the largest fundraising undertaken by the team is in full swing. Coach Derek Pollock's squad is currently raffling off tickets for a variety of prizes, including a much sought after Benelli Vinci 12-gauge shotgun. Pottawattamie County's Pheasants Forever chapter has partnered with the team and is assisting with the administration of the raffle. Tickets for the raffle are $20 each and can be obtained from any current Reiver Shotgun Sports student-athlete or by e-mailing Coach Pollock at dpollock@iwcc.edu. Raffle sales conclude on Friday, March 5th with the drawing taking place the following week. The proceeds from raffle's sales will help alleviate the cost of ammunition and targets as the Reivers prepare for their run to Nationals. This year's National Championship will be held in San Antonio, Texas at the end of March.
