Bio

FRESHMAN SEASON: Emmanuel "Manny" Ugboh returns his sophomore season as the only returning starter off last season's team that reached the NJCAA Region XI title game. The 6'11 Nigerian's freshman campaign was a very productive one. Ugboh started in all 32 games of the 2017-18 season; averaging 6.2 ppg, shooting a team high 62.8% from the floor, and was second on the team in rebounding at 6.0 rpg for a Reiver team that had 7 players move on to compete at the NCAA D1 or D2 level this upcoming fall. Manny's efforts earned him NJCAA All-Region XI honors, and an invite to the elite 2018 Jerry Mullen's "Juco Top 100" camp this summer.

High School: Ugboh attended and competed at the well respected and known Quality Education Academy in Winston Salem, NC. While in Winston Salem, Manny averaged 8 points per contest, grabbing 9 rebounds per game, and made his presence known of the defensive end as well erasing 4 blocks per contest. While playing for coach Isaac Pitts' basketball program he gained valuable experience as the prep academy played in over 70 contests during his time there.

Personal: Manny is the son of Peter and Juliet Ugboh.  He is also the cousin of fellow Nigerian and Reiver teammate Tony Chukwuemeke.
