Iowa Western Football Schedule Update

COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa - Iowa Western Football's final game of the regular season versus McDougle Tech has been canceled.  The Reivers were slated to play the Bison at Lewis Central's Titan Stadium on Saturday November 20th.  An effort was made to replace them on the schedule but a last minute change proved to be logistically unfeasible.

Iowa Western finishes their regular season 9-0 and ranked #1 in the latest NJCAA Football poll.  The team now will have to wait until polls come out on Monday, November 22nd to see where they will be seeded for the NJCAA Football playoff.

This is the first time since 2014 that the Reivers have gone through the regular season undefeated.  The team ended that campaign with a 34-17 loss in the national championship game versus East Mississippi.

Undefeated regular seasons:

2010 - 9-0 (Finished 9-2. Lost first round MFC playoff to Ellsworth 34-14 and Top of the Mountains Bowl to Snow 48-36)

2012 - 9-0 (Finished 12-0 winning their first national championship)

2014 - 11-0 (Finished 11-1. Lost to East Mississippi in the national title game 34-17)

2021 - 9-0 (Finished ?)
