Council Bluffs, IA- Kiara Dallmann scored 25 points Friday as the Iowa Western women's basketball team pulled away from Western Nebraska late in the first round of the Holiday Inn/Hampton Inn Reiver Classic.

A bright spot came from Alnatas' replacement, De'Ayra Davis. She came off the bench and made all six of her field goal attempts, scoring 16 points in all.
"I'm so proud of her," Vande Hoef said. "She gave us a huge spark. She's going to be a force to be reckoned with."
Iowa Western led 37-30 at the break.
A 10-2 run at the start of the third quarter put Iowa Western back on top on Zhan'e Williams' 3-pointer. The two teams battled from there, with neither team leading by more than four until Dallman's 3 put Iowa Western up 68-62 with 4:43 to play.
The Reivers held a 38-23 rebounding edge, with Dallmann and Aubriana Noti grabbing 10 each.

Saturday November 10th vs. Jefferson College
The Reivers entered day two of the Classic facing opponent Jefferson College. After a slow start the Reivers gained momentum in the second half which helped propel the Reivers to a 54-32 victory.
After shooting woes early in the game Head Coach Lindsey Vande Hoef experimented with different line ups which allowed all 12 players on the bench to see the floor. The Reivers saw a spark from Freshman Aubriana Noti as she lead the way with a double-double, grabbing 18 boards and putting up 11 points.
The Reivers shot 34% from the field and struggled at the line going 10-21 but made up for this by dominating the boards, out-reboudning Jefferson 53 to 22 while also relying on Defense to hold Jefferson to shooting 24% from the field.
The win puts the Reivers at 3-0 for the year and unbeaten on their home court.
The Reivers are back in action November 15th, 16th, and 17that the Women's National Invitation Tournament hosted by Midland College in Midland, Texas. They will face Odessa College in the first round on November 15, at 5:00 p.m.
