Hayley Berfield was recognized both as an ICCAC First Team All-Region player and Honorable Mention NJCAA All-American.   Freshmen standout, Isnelle Natabou was selected ICCAC First Team All-Region while Arielle McElroy and Geassy Germano were selected ICCAC Second Team All-Region.   

The Reivers helped 4 players move on to NCAA D1 schools and 3 players to NCAA D2 schools. 

Head Coach Lindsey Vande Hoef, led her team to a record of 18-11 in her fifth season with IWCC.  The 2019-2020 women's basketball season was upended by Moberly Area Community College in the District K championship game in Reiver Arena.  Sommer Blakemore was awarded ICCAC Player of the Year and third-team NJCAA All-American.  Sommer Blakemore, Hayley Berfield and Jaiden Morris were all awarded ICCAC First Team All-region.  Ladun Akako and Solape Amusan were awarded ICCAC 2nd team all-region.  Coach Vande was selected as Region XI Coach of the Year for her third year in a row.  

The Reiver women's basketball program had an impressive five players committed to continuing playing career at NCAA D1 programs and two with NCAA D2 program and NAIA D1 program.  

Under Head Coach Lindsey Vande Hoef, the Reivers advanced to the District K Championship game and finished with an overall record of 23-9 during the 2018-19 season.  During Vande Hoef’s successful fourth season at IWCC, the Reivers were both ICCAC Conference Champions and Region XI Champions.  With the toughest non-conference schedule in history of the Iowa Western Women’s Basketball Program, the Reivers were able to compete against three teams ranked in TOP 10 in NJCAA D I and four teams ranked in overall TOP 25 in NJCAA D I. 

The Reivers, once again, saw success carry over off the court, and sustained during the 2018-19 academic school year with 11 of the 13 players awarded to ICCAC Academic All-Region Team. Seven were named to first team (3.5+ GPA) and four to second team (3.0-3.49 GPA).  Iowa Western Women’s Basketball team were recognized academically on the national level with six players; one recipient to NJCAA 1^st team All-Academic with perfect 4.0, three to 2^nd team NJCAA All-Academic of 3.8-3.99 GPA and two awarded 3^rd team All-Academic with 3.6-3.79 GPA.

There were 2 Reivers that concluded the season by putting their name in the record books for Iowa Western Women’s Basketball; Aubriana Noti is noted for a single season record of Highest Rebound Average of 9.5 and Kiara Dallmann is noted for her career individual record for Highest FG% of 65.2%.  The 6’2 starting forward, Dallmann, was recognized on the national level and named to the NJCAA All-American team as well as selected as the Region XI Player of the Year.

Not only was the team filled with a talented group of sophomores; the program saw 100% graduation rate for the sophomore class in May 2019.   IWCC is proud to recognize the six players continuing with their playing careers at the next level.  Aubriana Noti, University of Utah, NCAA DI (PAC 12), Kiara Dallmann, DePaul University, NCAA DI (BIG EAST), Naomie Alnatas, University of Missouri-Kansas City, NCAA D I  (WAC)   De’Ayra Davis, Eastern Kentucky, NCAA D I (OVC)  Zhan’e Williams, LIU Brooklyn, NCAA D I (NEC) and Julia Raflund, Queens University, NCAA D II (SAC)

Vande Hoef was named Region XI Coach of the Year for the 2018-19 season and has amassed an impressive 97-28 overall record in the past four seasons for .776% - the best winning % in the history of the women’s basketball program.

Kiara Dallmann, Aubri Noti, and Sommer Blakemore were selected ICCAC first-team all-region. De'Ayra Davis and Zhan'e Williams were selected as Honorable Mention for the ICCAC all-region teams. 

Head Coach Lindsey Vande Hoef, led her team to a record of 25-5 in her third season with IWCC and was undefeated in ICCAC regular season.  Jazza Johns was awarded ICCAC Player of the Year and honorable mention NJCAA All-American.  Jazza Johns, Naomie Alnatas, and Kiara Dallmann were awarded ICCAC 1st team all-region.  Azaria Floyd and Miya Bull were awarded ICCAC 2nd team all-region.  Coach Vande was selected as Region XI Coach of the Year and led her team to #2 in the nation for team GPA of 3.65 for the 2017-18 academic year.  1st team Academic All-Americans included; Christelle Nyauchi, Miya Bull, and Zheniah Jackson.  2nd team Academic All-Americans included; Jazza Johns, Azaria Floyd and Naomie Alnatas.   The Reiver women's basketball team broke several team records during the 2017-18 season; highest Free-throw percentage with 100% vs NDSCS, most free throws with 41 vs NWKT, most assists per game with 35 vs Briar Cliff Univ JV, and most 3 point field goals made of 15 vs Briar Cliff Univ. JV. The team also set best defensive average of 51.8, highest FG percentage 49.3%, and highest rebounding margin of 17.9 during the 2017-18 season.  

Kiara Dallmann set a single-season record of FG% at 70.9% and was ranked #1 in NJCAA.   

During Lindsey Vande Hoef's second season at IWCC, the Reivers were both Region XI Champions and District K Champions.  Coach Vande's squad advanced to the NJCAA DI National Championship tournament in Lubbock, Texas where the 2016-17 season ended in a loss to Northeastern Oklahoma A&M 73-47.  Lade Adepoju was named Division I 1st Team All-Region XI and NJCAA All-American.   

Lade Adepoju, Melis Ucar, and Alicia Mountain were selected as ICCAC 1st team all-region.  Jazza Johns and Azaria Floyd were both selected ICCAC 2nd team all-region.  

Head Coach Lindsey Vande Hoef had a breakout first season leading her team to a 25-5 record. The Reivers were upset 63-60 in the conference championship against Northeast; a team they beat twice during the regular season. Blaire Thomas was named NJCAA All-American and her jersey was hung in the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame. Citlali Lopez was named NJCAA Academic All-American and also set an individual school record for the highest free throw percentage in a single season shooting 93.8%. The Reivers ranked 15th in the nation and also ranked 7th in steals per game and 6th in field goals made. To finish off their accomplishments for the season Iowa Western made the All-Academic Team with a team GPA of 3.16.

Head Coach Jim Turgeon led his team to a record of 31-4 to break the record for most wins in a season in his eighth season with IWCC winning Region VI, District K, and advancing to the quarterfinals of the NJCAA National Tournament. Jasmine Trimboli was named WBCA First Team All-American. Along with breaking the record for most wins in a season, they also broke the record for rebounds per game, rebound margin, and tied the best defensive average. Nationally they ranked 5th in opponents' field goal percentage, 8th in blocks per game, 9th in total rebounds per game, and 10th in rebound margin. Iowa Western made the huge accomplishment of All-Academic Team with a team GPA of 3.03.

Head Coach Jim Turgeon led his team to a record of 25-7 in his seventh season with IWCC winning Region VI and advancing to the NJCAA District K Championship game. Abigail Asoro was named WBCA All-American 1st Team. Abigail Asoro, Simone Gillum, and Jasmine Trimboli were appointed to the NJCAA Region XI 1st team. In addition, Abigail Asoro signed with West Virginia University. As a team, the Reivers ranked 8th in the nation with assists per game and defensive rebounds per game. They also ranked 11th in total rebounds per game and 12th in blocks per game. Individually, Simone Gillum ranked 8th in the nation in blocks per game.

Head Coach Jim Turgeon, led his team to a record of 25-6 in his sixth season with IWCC and advanced to the NJCAA Region Championship game. Leah Scott was named an NJCAA All-American 2nd Team. Bobbi Beckwith, Blair Harding, Leighlani Paselio, Alise Karlsone, Natasha Lebedeva, and Amber McCann were named to the ICCAC Academic All-Region 1st team. Leah Scott, Bobbi Beckwith, and Tyisha Smith were appointed to the NJCAA Region XI 1st team. In addition, six players signed with Division 1 schools (Leah Scott- Marshall, Tyisha Smith- Northern Iowa, Bobbi Beckwith- Indiana State, Amber McCann- Virginia Commonwealth, Alise Karlsone, and Natasha Lebedeva- College of Charleston). Bobbi Beckwith was ranked #4 in NJCAA 3-pt percentage.

Head Coach Jim Turgeon, led his team to a record of 21-12 in his fifth season with IWCC, and advanced to the District Finals. Taylor Turgeon, Amber McCann, and Lakota Goe were named to the All-Region Team.

Head Coach Jim Turgeon, led his team to a record of 28-3 and a #3 National Ranking, in his fourth season with IWCC, and advanced to the District Playoffs. Tyisha Smith was named an NJCAA Al-American. Marla Metzger, Linda Rubene, and Taylor Turgeon were appointed to the NJCAA Academic All-American list.

Head coach Jim Turgeon, led his team to a record of 22-10, in his third season with IWCC, and advanced to the District Playoff. Amber Peterson, Tempestt Wilson, and Airelle Eldridge were named to the ICCAC All-Region team. They broke two team records and four individual records this year.

Kayla Williams and Negesti Taylor were named to the ICCAC All-Region team. The team broke four individual records this year. Jillian Flores was named an NJCAA Academic All-American.

Head Coach Jim Turgeon, led his team to a record of 21-10, in his first season with IWCC, and advanced to the District Playoff. Autralius Sanders, in her second season, broke the record for most steals in a game with 11 steals.

1st year Head Coach Errol Lowery, led his team to a record of 15-14 and finished 2nd in the District Playoff. They had five players named to the All-Region team. Team members Maria Bratcher and Shandrell Duncan both broke records in their sophomore season. Maria broke the single-season and career block records and Shandrell broke the career rebounds record.

Head Coach Errol Lowery took over mid-season and led his team to an overall record of 24-8 and finished 2nd in the District Playoffs. Ashley Birch was named to the District tournament team and Aneta Bruzgul was named the District tournament MVP. Five players were named All-Region, and team member Kristina Slezeviciute was honored as a Distinguished Academic All-American.

During Brett Meckley's second season at IWCC, the Reivers were runner-up in the Region VII Championship. Cherelle George was named Division I 1st Team Region XI All-American.

First-year head coach Brett Meckley, lead the Reivers to a 17-13 record.

In Head Coach Jeff Tadtman's last year at IWCC, the Reivers were ranked 9th in the preseason poll and finished the season with a 16-12 record.

Finished 5th place at the NJCAA National Tournament in Salina, Kansas. Kseniya Shneyder was named 2nd Team All-American. The Reivers record of 30-5 is the most wins in the season for the program.

In Jeff Tadtman's first season at IWCC, he lead the Reivers to a 25-6 record that included a District Championship and a national tournament appearance.

In Head Coach Jason Nuss last season with IWCC, he led the Reivers to their third District Championship and National Tournament Appearance. With a record of 20-13, Nuss lead the team to four seasons with 20+ wins.
