COUNCIL BLUFFS, IA- The year 2019 has been good for Iowa Western's women's basketball team.

The Reivers won their 14th game in a row on Saturday, pounding Marshalltown by 70 points.

Iowa Western shot 59 percent from the field, holding Marshalltown to 30 percent. The Reivers also outrebounded the visitors 44-14.

Kiara Dallmann scored 23 points, Aubriana Noti 17, Tiana Ziegler 15, Zhan'e Williams 12, and Julia Raflund 10 for IWCC, which hasn't lost since Dec. 29 at Hutchinson (Kan.).

For now, Reiver coach Lindsey Vande Hoef is enjoying the moment.

"The best thing any coach can hope for is that their team is playing their best basketball at the right time of year," said Vande Hoef, whose team started 4-4.

"Everyone is happy for each other's success," she said. "It's just really unselfish basketball. It's fun to watch, and fun to coach."

The Reivers, the Region XI champions, wind up regular season play Wednesday in Scottsbluff, Neb., against Western Nebraska.
