Council Bluffs, IA - The 2017-2018 Reiver women's basketball team finished with a winning season on the court and in the classroom as well. The team finished second in the Nation for team GPA amongst NJCAA D1 women's basketball teams. The Reivers combined for a cumulative GPA of 3.65, one of the highest in program history. The team will look to maintain their academic diligence for the 2018-2019 season. Freshman RS Aubriana Noti is especially motivated, "I think this is amazing. It shows that our team really brings that student-athlete attitude. Every year we're going to strive to do better than the year before. Our goal this year is to finish first in the Nation." The Reivers were just shy of winning Academic Team of the Year, which was awarded to Barton Community College who ended the season with a 3.72 team GPA.
