Bull's career game sparks Reivers against State Fair

COUNCIL BLUFFS, IA - Iowa Western Sophomore forward Miya Bull came off the bench with a career high 18 points to pace the Reivers in a 74-64 victory over State Fair on Saturday inside Reiver Arena.

The Reivers (23-4, 4-0) extend their winning streak to 16-straight games after the win over State Fair (11-13), the NJCAA Region XVI opponent. Bull's career high of 18 points came in 23 minutes of action. Nearly perfect from the field, Bull connected on 9-of-10 shots for 90% and tallying four rebounds.

Sophomore guard, Azaria Floyd poured in 16 points on 7-of-12 shots while grabbing five rebounds and dishing out three assists. Kiara Dallmann and Jazza Johns finished with 14 and 11 respectively. Freshman guard Zhan'e Williams dished out a game-high six assists as she started her ninth game of the season.

Struggling from the three-point line only making 3-of-18, the Reivers found points in the open floor tallying 29 points in transition. IWCC finished the game shooting 48.4% (30-of-62) from the field while holding the visiting Roadrunners to 37.7% (23-of-61) from the field. Ren'Cia Rolling lead the State Fair in scoring tallying 16 points and four rebounds. Forward Catie Kaifes joined Rolling in double-figures with 12 points on 4-of-11 from the field.

The Reivers finished the game off by outscoring State Fair 40-26 points in the paint.

Arkansas Baptist comes to Reiver Arena on Saturday, Feb. 17th for the non-conference match-up. The game is scheduled for a 2pm tip.
