Reivers top Tritons for Seventh Straight

COUNCIL BLUFFS, IA - For the second straight day, the Reivers hit the floor at Reiver Arena defeating Iowa Central 79-45.

Iowa Western (14-4) captured its seventh straight in the win over the Tritons (8-8). Sophomore guard Zheniah Jackson lead the way scoring 14 points rebounds on 5-of-7 shooting including a perfect 3-of-3 from beyond the arc. She was joined in double figures by Naomie Alnatas who poured in 12 points and Christelle Nyauchi with 10 points. 

The teams traded punches through the first three quarters, before the Reivers ran away from the Tritons in the fourth quarter outscoring them 25-5. The Tritons had no players in double-figures but were lead in scoring by Sarah Rolling who netted nine points.

Iowa Western shot the ball 52.3% (34-65) from the field including 12-of-18 in the fourth quarter. The Tritons shot a 36.2% on 17-of-47 shots from the field and 30.8% on 4-of-13 shots from deep.
