Nyauchi Signs on National Signing Day

COUNCIL BLUFFS, IA - Christelle Nyauchi's goal in coming to America from her native country was to continue her educaiton  in engineering and play basketball at the most competitive level. On Thursday, the sophomore forward from Harare, Zimbabwe took the next step in accomplishing her dream as she signed a National Letter of Intent to play for the University of Illinois-Chicago next fall. The rim protector is averaging just under three blocks per game this season and is on track to be in the IWCC history books at one of the top shot-blockers to play for the Reivers.

The University of Illinois-Chicago (UIC) competes at the NCAA Divison I level in The Horizon League. Nyuachi will major in engineering beginning in 2018-2019.
