Reivers Defeat Indian Hills in Home Finale

COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa - Top-ranked Iowa Western Women's Soccer (8-0-0) defeated the Indian Hills Warriors 7-0 in the team's regular-season home finale.  The Reivers kicked off the game with a bang as forward Nicole Navarro Aguilar buried a shot from beyond the 18-yard box in just the third minute of play.  Navarro Aguilar would add three more scores in the 36th, 52nd, and 59th minutes with her final goal being a rocket off of a full volley inside the box.

Iowa Western added goals from Marta Llopis, Oruha Hayashi, and Lou Brossault, outshooting the Warriors (5-5-2) 22-5.

With Indian Hills and Iowa Western as the lone remaining NJCAA D1 ICCAC teams, the Reivers played just a pair of home games with the first on September 27th being a 16-0 win over Western Iowa Tech who are in their first season of existence.

The Reivers' final three regular-season schedule has the team on the road to face Southwestern Illinois on October 6th, at Lewis & Clark College on October 7th, and the final game of the regular season is on October 11th at Northeast CC.  The Region 11 tournament will start on October 20th with the seeding still to be determined.
