Reivers Fall to Warriors

OTTUMWA, IA: The Reivers fall to Indian Hills in conference opener.

HOW IT HAPPENED:  The Warriors scored 3 minutes into the match with a goal from Elisabeth Plouy who was assited by Bailey Wiemann. the Reivers tied the match in the 25 minute off of a goal from Rylie Jacobsen who was assited by Hannah Estrada. Estrada played a ball into space which Jacobsen took a touch and placed it into the far post past the keeper. The Warriors would score another in the 37th minute to go up 2-1 at the half. Warriors 2nd goal was scored by Weimann and assisted by Plouy.

After intermission, the Reivers outshot to the Warriors 11-9 but couldn't find the back of the net. The Warriors added the third and last goal of a corner in the 57th minute. Goal was scored by Risa Ogasawara.

NOTES & NUMBERS: The Reivers drop to 6-1-0 on the season. Jacobsen scored her 2nd goal of the season. Estrada notched her 1st assist of the season.

QUOTES: Head Coach Adam Sanchez: "The game was wide open. We didn't execute and they finished their chances. We have work we need to do and we are excited for the challenge. We will see them again and we will be ready when we do".
