The Reiver Women's Golf team concluded their fall season this past Monday and Tuesday participating in the Grand View Invitation at Otter Creek Golf Course in Ankeny, IA. The women got off to a great start in round 1 shooting a team score of 299 led by Freshman Minhae Gwon and a round of 71. Sophomore Seira Kubo's round of 74 and Katie Graham's 75 placed the Reivers in 1st thru 3rd place individually.

The Second round brought the same consistent play as the team once again recorded a team score of 299 for a grand total score of 598 and a 46-stroke win over host school Grand View University. Day 2 was led by Sophomore Luisa Gibson who shot a tournament low round score of 70. Gwon, the eventual individual winner, fired a 72 while Graham's 77 and Sophomores Holly Elliott's 80 rounded out the team scoring.

All five Reiver players finished in the top 10 with Gwon (1st place), Gibson (2nd place) and Graham (T3rd place) all made the All-Tournament team. Sophomores Katie Schweers (19th place) and Sam Doughty (27th place) participated as individuals. Doughty's final round of 92 was the lowest collegiate score for her.

"It was great to see the women play consistent golf," Said Head Coach Matt Robinson. "We had a great fall season winning 4 events and getting 2nd in another. We are going to work hard in the off season and come out ready to play in the spring".
