Reiver Women Finish Fall Season in Oklahoma City

The Reiver Women capped off their fall season participating in the NAIA National Championship Preview hosted by Oklahoma City University. The weather played a big part in this event. With wind chills in the low 30's on day 1 the event was changed from a 54-hole contest to a 36-hole event.

The weather didn't effect the Reivers as they recorded a team score of 327 which placed them in the middle of the field in 9th place. Emily Spies led the team with a 75 while Marisa Weeks & Kassy Vest recorded their lowest round of the year, 82 & 88 respectfully.

Day 2 brought the same weather conditions along with steady rain at times. The Reivers scored very similar to day 1 finishing with a team score of 329 and finishing the tournament in 12th place. Spies once again led the team with an even par score of 72. She finished the tournament tied for 7th place over-all. Lisa Lied finished in a tie for 37th. Weeks ended in 66th place. Vest made a strong showing shooting her low combined rounds of the year and finishing in 69th, while Corey Mein finished Tied for 78th.

The Women will now be off for the winter season and will pick right back up in March working for that Automatic bid to the NJCAA National Championships being played in Daytona Beach Florida.
