The nationally ranked #6 Reivers women's basketball team has earned the 2 seed for the NJCAA DII Region XI tournament. Iowa Western finished the regular season with an overall record of 24-4 and a 13-3 record in the ICCAC.
The Reivers are currently highly ranked nationally in multiple statistical categories: 1st for free throws made per game, 2nd for free throws attempted per game, 3rd for free throw percentage, 5th for 3-point percentage, 7th for points per game, 18th in rebound margin, and 21st for assists per game.
Iowa Western will host the quarterfinal matchup with 7 seeded Iowa Central on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at 5:30 pm inside Reiver Arena. The game will also serve as a celebration of International Women's Day hosted by Iowa Western's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committee.
The semifinals and championship game for the Region XI tournament will be played at the highest seed remaining after the quarterfinals March 11th & 12th.
