Zolck Paves Way For Shotgun Sports Finish at 'Ice Out'

Lincoln, NE

Iowa Western's Shotgun Sports squad represented well over the weekend at the 'ICE Out' competition, hosted by Midland University.  Weston Zolck paced the Reivers, hitting 370 out of a possible 400 as IWCC finished just behind the host for 3rd Place in the competition.  The Reivers 1826 total points were seven behind Midland's 1833, with the top spot going to Concordia University with a score of 1855.

Mitch Germany aided the Reivers with 100 straight targets hit in the Trap segment of the shoot, good enough for a tie for 1st place in that discipline of the competition.

In addition to Midland and Concordia, the Reivers also competed against four year institutions, William Penn, Hastings, Oklahoma Panhandle State, and Doane and Connors State, Northwest Kansas Tech and Curtis out of the junior college level.

The Reivers will shoot virtually this week against Iowa Lakes.
