Bauer Leads Reivers Sports Shooting at Bronco Invitational

GRAND ISLAND, NE

Reiver Shotgun Sports traveled to Grand Island, Nebraska over the weekend to take part in a 500-target competition. The Reivers competed against ten other teams from surrounding states.

Freshman Andrey Bauer led the Reivers by hitting 438 out of his 500 targets.  Lucas Schmitz followed by hitting 433/500 targets, while twin brother Bailey Schmitz targetted 432/500.

"It was a beautiful weekend to shoot some targets. Though the scores were not as high as I would like to see, I hope as the season continues the kids get more comfortable at the collegiate level", said Head Coach Derek Pollock, "Most importantly, I'm still seeing constant improvement from most of the team. The goal is to translate this improvement to consistent performances at meets, which will come with time and experience."

The Reivers compete next weekend in Cedar Rapids at a trap-dual.
