Paris, TX

Iowa Western went 2-4 on their road trip down to Texas.  The Reivers played #8 San Jacinto 7-5 in the first game, surrendering a 5-1 lead by giving up six unearned runs.  In the second game of the day, Tyler Junior College would also steal a come from behind victory over IW.  After gaining a 5-4 lead on a Karlie Chonis homerun, TJC would rally for four runs in the sixth to pull off the 8-5 comeback.

On the second day of the road trip, #8 San Jac would again get the better of Iowa Western, this time 9-1.  However, the Reivers would bounce back and beat Trinity Valley 12-0.  The third day would see two incredibly tight softball games against Paris JC.  IW raised out to a 7-2 lead before errors would again bite them, losing 12-10, giving up seven runs in the fourth inning.  Game two, IWCC would hold on to win 7-6.  Jael Wilde provided the game winning three run homerun in the top of the sixth to break a 4-4 tie.
