The Reivers improved their record to 5-1 on the season with a sweep over State Fair Community College on Thursday, 10-2 and 18-5.

Game One

Emily Brouse was excellent in the circle again, upping her record to 3-0 on the season.  In the contest, she struck out nine while only allowing one hit in six innings.  Offensively, Rylee Konowalchuk stole the show, going 2-4, with two homeruns, four RBI's and three runs scored.  Karis Gifford had three hits with Libby Walls and Olivia Valdez adding doubles as well.

Game Two

The Iowa Western bats exploded in the night cap for 18 runs while Ava Knoll picked up her first win of the season, throwing a two hitter in the process.  The Reivers hit five homeruns in the contest, one each from: Olivia Kyes, Camryn Milley, Myla Beckstrom, Jael Wilde, Karlie Chonis.  Karis Gifford led with three more hits, with Kyes, Milley, Chonis, Wilde, and Beckstrom all collecting two hits each.  Rylee Konowalchuk had two hits as well, providing a double and a triple.
