Iowa Western split with Southwestern on Tuesday, losing game one 4-3 and winning the second game 13-4.

The Reivers defensive committed six errors on the day including four in game one that proved to be very costly.  Mattilyn Reiling was 5 for 7 on the day including a double and a bomb while scoring six times.  Katriana Bain was 3-4 with a homerun and three RBI's in game two.

Libby Walls picked up the win for the Reivers, going all five innings while striking out six.

"Unfortunately we didn't defend very well or make adjustments at the plate in the first game," said Head Coach Ben Greer. "But we've still got a ways to go until the post season and hopefully we can get back in a rhythm over the next couple of weeks."

Iowa Western is set to take on Indian Hills at home Wednesday. First pitch set for 2pm.
