Men's 4x400m Relay Wins Bobcat Invitational

SAN MARCUS, Texas - Iowa Western men's 4x400m Relay of Andrew Brown, Tahj Hamm, Romario Northover, and Eseroghene Oguma ran 3:09.62 to win the Texas State Bobcat Invitational. The mark improved their #4 time they posted just the day before at the Texas Relays where they ran 3:09.92. 

Miracles Ailes posted a 5.91m 12th place finish in the women's "A" section of long jump to post the #1 jump in the nation. 

Roman Smith finished 6th in the men's high jump with a 2.07m jump at the Bobcat Invitational.  
 
Shakiel Dacres was 4th in the discus at 15.78m and 10th in the discus with a national qualifying mark of 54.78m
 
Brandon Gayle posted an outdoor best 16.67m in the men's shot put. 
 
Prosper Kapongo won the Men's long jump at Mt Mercy with a 7.07m. Qwentin Coble was 2nd in 6.71m
 
Michael Harris went 15.34m to win the men's shot put. 
 
Max Azor finished 3rd in the Mens 200m with a 22.22 personal best. 
 
Kamdyn Swartz finished 3rd in the men's 110 hurdles running 15.21. 
 
Brandon Calmese finished 4th in the men's high jump with a 1.75m. 
 
Callie Arnold was 3rd in the women's 1500m in 5:12.95. Lauren Pierson finished 6th in 5:19.03.
 
Kamdyn Staley was 5th in 10.09m in the women's triple jump. 
 
Tyjah Thompson was 4th in the women's discus in 35.71m. Kierra Schmieding 7th in 32.73m. 
 
The Reivers will return to action next week at the Wichita State KT Woodman Classic on April 7-8.
