Men Compete in NCAA DII Golf Tournement

The Reiver men traveled to Warrensburg, MO to participate in 'The Mule' this past Monday and Tuesday. The host school, University of Central Oklahoma invited the Reivers to participate with a NCAA Division II field. The Reivers were the only Junior College in the field.

Day 1 had mixed results with the Reivers shooting a score of 291 the first round which represented one of their low rounds of the season but then followed it up with a score of 302. Round 1 was led by Freshman Ethan Smith with a stellar round of 68. Sophomore Jason Kolbas followed with a 72 and Max Nielsen fired a 75.

"It was great to see Ethan shoot that score," Said Head Coach Matt Robinson "This was the first time he stepped up to play in the top 5 and he made the best of the opportunity."

The second and 3rd rounds saw Freshman Matt Dennis step up and fire a 74 and 72, which was the low rounds for the team.

The men will be back in action April 10 and 11 when they travel to Wichita, KS to play at Sank Creek Station Golf Course
