KELLY TAKES SECOND AT THE JAYHAWK COLLEGIATE CHAMPIONSHIP

LAWRENCE, Kan. - Freshman Reece Kelly earned his third all-tournament team honor in his Reiver career finishing as the tournament runner-up.  Kelly shot 1297 for six games on day one to place himself on the podium.  Freshman Cameron Brundage finished in 14th place, shooting 1223 on his six-game block.  After qualifying 8th, the team faced Newman University in the quarterfinals of the bracket.  The Reivers would fall in the deciding third game by a score of 230-202 to end the day.  Iowa Western is currently ranked 12th in the nation according to the USBC computer rankings that include both two-year and four-year programs.

On the women's side, Jerika Koopmeiners led the way for the Reivers with a score of 1000 for six games.  The team finished in 12th place for the weekend.
